I was first elected to South Derbyshire District Council in October 2007.  I have served as a Member of Housing and Community Services Committee in all my time on the Council. 

I have also served as a Member of Finance and Licensing. 

For the last two and a half years I have been a member of the executive for the Labour Group.

For fifteen years I have chaired the Labour Group of Councillors for South Derbyshire.
